ALLIUM ON AFAR's 'Chicago's Best Kid-Friendly Restaurants' LIST

Lucky hotel guests ages five and under eat free at this fine-dining restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel. (Sorry, non-guests and parents, you'll have to pay for your meals.) Parents may want to sample the child-focused fare, too, with morning kid-kick-starters like brioche French toast or a Nutella “quesadilla” with bananas. Come dinnertime, those kid-menu selections only get more sophisticated with petite portions of chef Michael Zachman’s contemporary American cuisine: free-range chicken tenders, a four-ounce filet with heirloom carrots, or macaroni and cheese made with Wisconsin white cheddar.

The Art of Bartending @ Allium Chicago

The Art of Bartending's national tour stopped in Chicago at Allium inside Four Seasons Chicago on February 19th.

Le Sirenuse Champagne Bar, the palm-fringed oasis located in Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club, teamed up with Q, Brooklyn-based maker of spectacular mixers, to launch The Art of Bartending, a new cocktail series hosted by five of the country’s best hotel bars nationwide. The Art of Bartending saw Le Sirenuse Champagne Bar’s award-winning Jacopo Rosito and Valentino Longo make their way across the USA for a series of one-night-only guest bartending events at host bars in each of five cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Austin and Las Vegas.

In honor of #BreastCancer Awareness Month, a portion of proceeds from the purchase of @alliumchicago’s Prickly Pear Macarons and Señorita Rosa cocktails will benefit local Lynn Sage Foundation (@lynnsagefdn).
